Terms of service
Last updated 9 August 2026
These terms govern your use of Ragxen Books, provided by Ragxen Technologies. By creating an account you agree to them.
The service
Ragxen Books is subscription software for issuing GST invoices and keeping the associated books. We provide it on a licence basis for the period you have paid for.
Your account
- You must give accurate business details, including a valid GSTIN where you are registered.
- You are responsible for what happens under your login and under logins you create for your staff.
- Keep your password private and tell us promptly if you think it has been compromised.
- One subscription covers one business. Separate businesses need separate subscriptions.
Subscription and payment
Subscriptions are paid in advance for the chosen period. Access to your data continues only while the licence is valid; when it lapses you can still sign in to renew, but billing features are locked until you do.
Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We will give you notice before changing prices, and any change applies from your next renewal.
Your data belongs to you
You own everything you enter. We claim no rights over your invoices, customers or products, and we do not use your business data to train anything or to market to your customers. You can export your registers as CSV at any time.
Compliance is yours, the tooling is ours
This is the most important clause in these terms, so it is written plainly.
Ragxen Books helps you produce documents in the formats GST law requires, and calculates tax from the rates and details you enter. It does not give tax, legal or accounting advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of what you enter, GSTINs, HSN codes, tax rates, place of supply, and for filing your own returns.
We would encourage you to have a qualified chartered accountant review your filings. The Reports page exports your books in the layout they work from, so handing your accountant what they need should take a minute.
Acceptable use
- Do not use the service to issue false or fraudulent invoices.
- Do not attempt to access another business’s data, or to probe, scan or overload the service.
- Do not resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us.
We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.
Availability
We work to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Maintenance, upstream provider failures and events outside our control can interrupt it. Keep your own copies of anything critical, the CSV export exists for that reason.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time. On closure we remove your login and personal contact details and retain statutory billing records for 72 months, as GST law requires and as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the subscription fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business or tax penalties arising from information you entered.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
